Martha Young

Martha Graham Young was born August 29, 1933, in Thomasville, Georgia. She passed away August 27, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hattie Graham; her husband Robert Lee young Sr.; her son, Lorenzo Young; brothers, Lewis, Leroy, Plina, Robert, Ralph, and John; and sisters, Mary, Louise, and Bertha.

Martha was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness. She shared and taught the truth of God’s word to everyone whom crossed her path from friends of the grandkids to delivery drivers, always saying “You better get in that bible and learn that truth.” She also enjoyed being out in her yard tending to her plants and garden as well as a love of cooking and fellowship with friends and family.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory her son, Robert Jr.; daughters, Caralyn Y. Worley (Brian), Belinda Young; son, Bernard Young;  9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Hattie, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, FL, followed by interment at Beal Memorial Cemetery.  The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
