Martha Dietzen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Martha was born September 13, 1932, in Houston, Texas, to John R. Francis and Adele Francis. After graduation from Baylor University, she married Laurence H. Dietzen, a navigator for the United States Air Force. Martha was a devoted mother to four children, as well as an “Air Force wife” and was stationed throughout the United States with her husband, Laurence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence; and sons, Gary H. Dietzen and Douglas F. Dietzen. She is survived by son, Christopher J. Dietzen (Ann) and daughter, Michelle Henderson (Timothy), along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Martha always had a smile on her face, an uplifting laugh, and a kind word to all who came in contact with her. Her love of life will be greatly missed.

A private family gathering will be held on October 8, 2025 at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida, where Martha will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Laurence H. Dietzen.
