“Maria Cucinella was a beloved Mother and Grandmother during her incredible 86 years of life. She Passed away peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Crestview, Florida. She was the most beautiful of souls, enduring so much, and giving more love than anyone deserves. Maria is Survived by her children, Vincenzo & Geri; grandchildren, Vincenzo, Roland, Marista, Erica, Ashley, & Nicole; and great grandchildren, Anthony, Aurora, Vincenzo, Jack & Henry.
Maria, the daughter of Paolo Scognamiglio and Marista Saracco, graced us with her presence on December 05, 1935, in Cerreto, Sannita Province of Benevento Italy. Her journey brought her and her Children to America in 1966, where she was determined to make a beautiful life for her family. Throughout the years Maria made lifelong friends, traveled across America and nurtured a growing and loving family. Everyone in her life will always remember and cherish the crocheted and knitted blankets, scarves, hats, and sweaters that she was always so proud to gift.
Maria was such a light in this sometimes-dark world, and she leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family and friends who were always entranced by her bright smile and sweet and caring demeanor. She touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations and without doubt will be deeply missed.
With all of our love.”
