Margaret Anne (Robinson) Woodworth

Margaret Anne Woodworth of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 6, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born in Withington, a suburb of Manchester, England on August 31, 1936 to Alfred and Annie Robinson. 

Margaret married Robert E. Woodworth in December 1955 in Withington, Manchester. She was a proud military wife, loving mother, and homemaker living in England at Burtonwood Air Force Base; Dover, Delaware; Sacramento, California at McClellan A.F.B; Germany at Rhein Mein A.F.B.; Vandenberg, California; Florida at Eglin Air Base; New Mexico at Cannon A.F.B.; and lastly, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where they settled down in 1974. Margaret and Robert raised a beautiful family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come. 

A love for dancing and traveling, Margaret was an auxiliary member of the V.F.W.(Veterans of Foreign Wars) and the American Legion.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherie and husband, Ronald Gerdeman of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; daughter, Gale Woodworth and partner, Virginia Fullbright of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Christina Woodworth of Fort Walton Beach; grandson, Jason Gerdeman and wife, Ava of Niceville, Florida; granddaughter, Rhonda Culbertson and husband, Matthew of Niceville; granddaughter, Sarina Clark and husband, Doug of Fort Myers, Florida; grandson, Kyle Woodworth of Fort Walton Beach; great granddaughter, Ashlee Culbertson of Niceville; great grandson, Chase Gerdeman of Niceville; great granddaughter, Allisyn Culbertson of Niceville; and great grandson, Ryan Gerdeman of Niceville. Those who preceded her in death are her husband, Robert Earl Woodworth; son, Robert K. Woodworth; mother, Annie Robinson; and father, Alfred Robinson.   

Pallbearers are Jason Gerdeman, Chase Gerdeman, Ryan Gerdeman, Kyle Woodworth, and Matthew Culbertson. 

To celebrate Margaret's life and share stories, a visitation will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home on Racetrack Road in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Mickey Hawkins officiating.
