Marc Édouard EXAMA, age 61, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026.

ORIGINS AND CHILDHOOD
Marc Édouard Exama was born on July 27, 1964, in Gros-Morne. The son of Maxion Exama and Hermancia Casséus, he grew up in Gros-Morne alongside his siblings. From a very young age, he distinguished himself through his remarkable qualities: his curiosity, energy, kindness, seriousness, and passion for the joy of life.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PATHWAY
He attended primary school at the National School of Gros-Morne and secondary school at the Modern College. A teacher by profession, he had a deep love for education.
In 1993, he became a teacher at the Christian Institution of Boucandrice, where he dedicated 19 years of his career: 7 years as a teacher and 12 years as principal. Appreciated by all for his dedication and commitment to his work, he also collaborated with several organizations in the field of education. With all the energy he gave, he built an unforgettable community.
FAMILY LIFE AND LEGACY
His family was the pillar of his life. In 1997, he married Antonide Fermilien, his beloved wife. Three children were born from this union:
• Arland M Joubens EXAMA • Bailly M Lowens EXAMA
• Christaelle Myrdjy EXAMA
Those who knew him will remember a joyful, friendly, serious, respectful, generous, hardworking, sensitive man who was deeply protective of his family.
The key values he conveyed:
• Love of family
• Respect for others
• The meaning of effort
• Honesty and honor in work
He passed away on July 27, 2026, two days before his birthday, at the age of 61, surrounded by the love of his family, after a battle with cancer. He leaves a huge void for his family, loved ones, and friends, but will continue to live on in their hearts through his memories, his teachings, and his smile.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins of Bonifay, 406 West Highway 90 Bonifay, Florida beginning at 11:00 a.m. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
