Lorraine Mavis (Greene) Washington

Lorraine Mavis Washington (nee Greene) died peacefully on January 7, 2022 in Florida, USA.
She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Mavis Greene of 12 Goedverwagting, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara.
She was a loving mother to her two (2) beautiful daughters – Nicola and Celeste Washington. The result of a former union of marriage to Monty Hamilton Washington (Washie).
A devoted and caring grandmother to Natalie Keggler and to her sweet and lovely Trinity. Beloved sister to Phillip, Trevor/Monty and Terrence Greene and Hazel Greene-King. Beloved sister-cousin to Paula Greene Sanford, Richard and Desmond Greene, and to Donna and Aubrey Frank and Karen Stewart.
Sister-in-law to Wayne King, Debbie Bunbury-Greene and Ewa and Tina Greene. Former sister-in-law to Valerie Greene, Faye Washington-Quick and Keith Washington.
A loving aunt to Vonetta and Janice Greene; Warren King; Cleo Greene-Polk; Christopher Greene and ten (10) others.

Our beloved Lorraine leaves to mourn her favorite and loving aunt Theresa Greene-Waldron and uncle Oscar Greene both residing in Plaisance, Guyana.
Lorraine was a devoted family friend to Antolina Pilgrim, Robin Roberts, Marlyn Edwards, and Sandra Veerasammy.
Her many cousins including Linda and Orin Greene and others too numerous to mention are also mourning her passing.

The Reid’s, Headley’s, Greene’s, Pitts, Patterson’s and Pollydore families are among the relatives left to mourn her passing.
