Lorey Ann Barton

Lorey Ann Vann Barton, age 49, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Opp, Alabama.  She was born May 18, 1970 in Galliano, Louisiana to Thomas Ray and Donna Harrelson Vann. Being the patriotic person that she was, she proudly served as an officer with the Ladies Auxiliary Amvets  #178 in DeFuniak.  Lorey enjoyed cooking inside her home as well as grilling outside, and often entered Bar-B-Que competitions around the area. She was an avid football fan for both LSU and the New Orleans Saints.  She always preferred being outdoors and loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Ray Vann who passed in 2014.

Lorey is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Kenneth Barton; daughter, Haley Bass; son, Kalomb Barton; one granddaughter, Kesleigh Jade Moran; mother, Donna; two sisters, Tammy Allen and husband Jim and Carley McMillian; two brothers, Michael Harrelson and wife Gulten and Thomas J. Vann and wife Joyce; and uncle Joe Vann and wife aunt Joan.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Sandy Creek Cemetery, 1125 Line Road, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455 beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Ben Barton officiating.
