Lisa Grimes Ramlow, devoted mother, supportive wife and loving daughter, was received into heaven on March 21, 2020, following her valiant battle with glioblastoma.
Born in Winter Garden, Florida to Bryan and Connie Grimes on November 11, 1960, Lisa and her parents moved to Fort Walton Beach when she was just an infant. Fort Walton Beach remained her home and is where she married and raised her children. Lisa was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family and that was evident by her devotion, support and tireless care for them and their home.
Lisa is the wife of Edward T. Ramlow; the devoted mother to her beloved son, Bryan J. Ramlow; and her cherished daughter, Kelley R. Savage (Michael); “Mimi” to baby, Elliott Marian Savage; daughter to her father and stepmother, Bryan and Mary Grimes; and sister to her much loved brother, Richard B. Grimes. Lisa’s family also included nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Lisa was preceded in death by her best friend, her mother, Connie Grimes. Other deceased members of Lisa’s family include her maternal grandparents, Wendell Fox and Betty Fox; and her paternal grandparents, Thelma and Encie Grimes.
Lisa enjoyed traveling and some of her most wonderful memories were made as she explored destinations and countries near and far. Lisa was a member of Wright Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
A private interment will be held in lieu of a service at this time, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida.
