Lisa Denise Carmichael (Tippetts)

Lisa was born November 26, 1973, in Tacoma, Washington to Bill and Karen Tippetts. She passed away at home surrounded by friends and family, on May 25, 2022, in Fort Walton Beach after an extended illness.

Lisa graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School where she made lifelong friendships.  After graduation, Lisa married Shannon Carmichael, the love of her life, and together they spent twenty-eight years enjoying boating, going to the creek, visiting Crab Island, and having fish frys with friends and family.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Shannon; siblings, Kris Bullick (Kenny) and Scott Bullick; mother-in-law, Diane Carmichael; brothers-in-law, Kevin Carmichael (Yvonne), Darin Carmichael (Dina); three nieces; two nephews; two grandnephews; four grandnieces; uncle, Brian (Rob); aunt, Korel; and many friends that she considered family, especially the Newton Family to whom she was a proud Godmother.

Lisa is preceded by her parents who she loved dearly; her father-in-law, Eddie Carmichael; maternal grandparents, Francis and Phyllis West; and paternal grandparents, Lynn and Beatrice Tippetts.

Lisa had a life-long love of animals and is survived by Teenie and Buddy who were her constant companions.  Special to Lisa were also Zee Zee, Roxie, Dixie, Chewy, and Bailey who preceded her.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Emerald Coast Hospice for such good care, especially Jennifer and Meranda, also Brooke and the nurses at Westwood.

In honor of Lisa’s wishes her ashes will be spread with her mom and dad at a later date.
