Linda Ann (Frydlewicz) Reinke

Linda Ann Frydlewicz Reinke, age 59, Port Austin, Michigan, passed away February 11, 2020.  She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, on February 26, 1960 to her parents, Alice Margaret Kahnt and Walter John Frydlewicz.  Linda married the love of her life, Larry Dale Reinke on June 28, 1980.

Linda is survived by her husband; son, Zachary John Reinke; sister, Laura Mayes; in laws, Kathy and Ray Young, Laura and Ron Clancy, Dale & Diane Reinke, Linda Williams, John and Diane Reinke, Ruth Richardson, Joanne and George Pettit, Donna and Leonard Horetski, Donald Reinke and special friend Angie, Lisa and Scott Dittrich; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her in laws, Amy and Walter Reinke; brother-in-laws, Jecks Richardson, Forrest Williams and Mike Mayes.

Linda graduated from Port Austin High School in 1978, then attended St. Clair Community College where she earned her nursing degree. She worked at Huron Medical Care for many years. After retiring from nursing, Linda worked at IGA and Jeff’s Market, both in Caseville.

She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, gambling, music and playing cards.  She also enjoyed morel picking, traveling and photography. Linda was a member of Frank Horetski Post 499 Legion Auxilliary; Port Austin Conservation Club and Bird Creek Golf Course.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Port Austin Conservation Club at 1:00 pm.
