Linda Lee Danells (Cook) died at age 59, in her home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on May 9th, 2020 at 12:10pm. She was born on May 26, 1961 in New Britain, Connecticut. Linda was the youngest of three daughters to Mary and Donald Cook. Former wife to Richard Danells who was cherished by two beautiful and very different twin daughters Taylor and Brianna. Linda attended Peabody High School in Massachusetts and spent much of her adult life on the North Shore in Massachusetts. Linda worked many years in the hospitality industry where she met many lifelong friends and even met her former husband Richard through the industry.
Linda loved to read books, play cards, play trivia and puzzles, watch various TV shows and movies, loved musicals, and anything to do with music and it did not matter the genre. Linda also enjoyed walking everywhere and anywhere, and always could be seen laying out by the sun every day in the summer. Linda loved to talk; on the phone, in person, to friends, family and strangers it did not matter. Linda could make friends with anyone, anywhere! Linda would give anything for animals, and many times she was first one to take care of a sick animal, or a stray in the neighborhood. Linda was famous for cooking, and was critic of all food, from restaurants to other family recipes. Her two most requested dishes were American Chop Suey and Chicken Noodle Soup. Every time she made either dish everyone in the neighborhood would be at her door with bowl and spoon in hand.
Linda Danells was survived by her twin daughters: Taylor Danells (Whitcomb) and her husband Jon Paul Whitcomb and their two children Ryann and Landyn; Brianna Danells (Kamruzzaman) and her husband Minto Kamruzzaman and their two children Ethan and Preston. Linda was also survived by her sister Kathleen Cook (Silva) and her husband Frank Silva and their two children Jordan Silva and Alyssia Hawkins.
Linda Danells was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Mary Cook, and sister Susan Cook (Khali).
Services will be private, and a memorial service held later with close friends and family.

A big thank you to Covent Care Hospice agency for the nurses who took the time to care for Linda and get to know her and her family. Another big thank you goes to Kathleen and Frank Silva, Linda’s sister and brother in law who took care of Linda during her battle with cancer until her last day on earth.
Linda’s Favorite Poem was from Lord of the Rings by J.R. Tolkien:
Three Rings for the Elven Lords under the Sky
Seven for the Dwarf Lords in their halls of Stone
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
