Leona Marie Yant

Leona Marie Tanner Waterson Yant passed to the other side Monday, April 6, 2026. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemie and Earlline Tanner; husband, Charles E. Yant Jr.; and her fur babies, Alex, Pepper, and Bear.

Leona is survived by her four children, Richard Waterson II, Sue-Anne Savoir, Katrina Walker (Billy), and Patrick E. Yant; her sisters, Jackie, Bernie, and Melanie; her six grandchildren, William Adams, Skyla Savoir, Aniya Walker, Ava Walker, Braden Walker, and Awinita Walker; as well as her many kitties at home.

The family would like to thank her long-time caregiver, Patrick Devine, for his loving care over Leona for the last few years.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida, 32539. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, starting at 3:00 p.m.

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial.
