Lena Mae Odom

Lena Odom, age 78, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away at home July 7, 2026. She was born September 15, 1947, in Red Bay, Florida to the late Cecil Johnson and Mozell Van Johnson. Lena Loved giving of her time to her family and friends. A few of her favorite things to do were; playing card games, growing flowers, fishing and bird watching. Lena loved her family and fur babies.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Odom; daughter, Carolyn Taylor; one brother, Cecil Johnson; three sisters, Millie Harrison, Lorine Goddin, and Lola Johnson.

Lena is survived by two children, Marie Taylor and Billy Taylor; three sisters, Margaret Williams, Dollie Johnson, and Deborah Johnson; two grandchildren, Jennifer Morgan and Chase Taylor; two great grandchildren, Jaxon Morgan and Chipper Morgan; stepmom, Jearline Nelson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Lena’s life will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
