On the morning of May 26, 2025, Larry Mitchel Graves, Jr., AKA "Frog", was called to rest. He was born September 4, 1971 in Ellisville, Mississippi to Larry M. Graves, Sr. and the late Dorothy Mae Nichols-Graves.
Places of previous residence include Ellisville, Mississippi; Aurora, Colorado (Lowry AFB); Wiesbaden AFB, Germany; Cocoa Beach, Florida (Patrick AFB); Bitburg AFB, Germany; Hampton, Virginia (Langley AFB); Eglin AFB, Florida; Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Fort Gordon, Georgia; Camp Casey, Korea; Fort Walton Beach, Florida; Ecorse, Michigan; and back to Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
He received his education in Cocoa Beach, FL; Ellisville, MS; Bitburg AFB, Germany; Hampton, VA, and Niceville High School, where he played football and graduated with the class of 1990. After graduating High School, he joined the United States Army and received the following recognition: National Defense ribbon, Army Service ribbon, M16 Rife Sharpshooter, and Overseas ribbon.
Upon completion of his military service, Larry worked as a Cashier (Fast Too), Residential Elevator Installation/Repair serviceman, Locksmith (Destin), Chauffeur (Ecorse, Michigan), Pest Control serviceman (Ecorse, Michigan), Pest Control serviceman (FWB), and Locksmith (Heritage Lock).
Hobbies included working on cars (Painting, Body Work, Engine re-build/repair, Install/Operate car hydraulics), handling firearms, and gaming on Xbox and PS5.
He was humorous, a jokester, and the best Mr. Brown look-a-like and imitator, to include, dressing the part to the tee. He was also an organ donor for science and life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Nichols-Graves; grandmother, Irene Nichols; grandfathers, Howard Nichols and Curtis Graves; uncles, Howard Nichols, Jr. (Catherine), Robert Charles Nichols, and Timothy Nichlos; and brother, Courtney (CJ) Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Larry Graves, Sr. and Lucy Jackson-Graves; four brothers, Kelvin J. Graves of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Michael D. Jackson, Albert Jackson (Holly) of Wichita, KS, and Darren L. Jackson of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Renee Jackson of Plano, TX; grandmother, Kissia Graves of Taylorsville, MS; aunt, Mary Grant (Charles); two uncles, Charles Graves (Cynthia) of Taylorsville, MS and Thomas Graves (Mary) of Tacoma, WA; four great aunts; one great uncle; a host of cousins; former wife/friend, Chasity LaFuse; and special friend, Alonzo Riggins, as well as others.
