Kaye Crowley Hicks, age 62, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was born March 25, 1959 in Valparaiso, Florida. Some of Kaye’s best times were spent laughing with her friends and family. She really enjoyed music, and loved dancing, singing, and playing her auto harp, but her grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. She loved watching their ballgames and cherished the time she spent with them.
She is preceded in death by her daddy, Otis Crowley; her father-in-law, LD Hicks; and mother-in-law, Inez Hicks, all of Ponce de Leon, Florida.
Kaye is survived by her mom, Joyce Crowley of Ponce de Leon, Florida; her loving husband of 41 years, Lonnie Ray Hicks; three children, Katherine Cosby (Isaac), Nathan Hicks (Kecia), and Mylan Hicks, all of Ponce de Leon, Florida; six grandchildren, Logan Hicks, Karley Cosby, Olivia Hicks, Dawson Hicks, Auston Cosby, and Haedon Cosby; sisters, Beth Trotman (Charles) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Brenda Cate McGowan (Dana) of Niceville, Florida; sister-in-law, Cathie Whigham (Jimmy) of Westville, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, from 4 until 5:30 p.m., with funeral services beginning in the chapel at 5:30 p.m. with Reverend Roger White officiating. Flowers are being accepted.
