Katherine (Kathy) Charlotte Holbrook, age 65, of Fort Walton Beach, passed away at home of natural causes on April 19, 2020. She was born on November 18, 1954 in Plymouth, Wisconsin to Lorraine Elizabeth (Velie) Holbrook and Donald Melvin Holbrook. Kathy graduated from Choctawhatchee High School, class of 1972, and remained a Fort Walton Beach resident all her life. She loved the area, her family and her church, Good Shephard Lutheran, Shalimar. Kathy was a Sunday school teacher there for well over 20 years. Her joy was in her involvement with both church activities and service to the community. She delighted in joining her church’s “Knotty Ladies” in quilting lap robes and blankets for the community and overseas missions.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorraine and Don Holbrook. She is survived by her sisters, Cindy Jo Holbrook and Deborah Ann Holbrook as well as many cousins and second cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church later in August, date and time to be announced.
