Kara Elizabeth Fisher, 22, passed away suddenly March 20, 2021. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998 and moved to Florida at the age of 2. She graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School in 2017. After high school, she attended the University of West Florida and was enrolled in nursing school. She was employed by Brotula’s, Marina Cafe and Starr Social as a marketing associate. She was a passionate member of the Fort Walton Beach High School volleyball team and several club and beach teams. She loved animals, being at the beach or on the boat, dancing, singing and being with her friends. She loved her family more than anything. Kara had the brightest personality and the biggest smile. She put “her whole self” in everything she did. She was smart, fun, beautiful, vibrant, sweet, funny, artistic, but most of all a generous, loving soul. The world is a dimmer place without her. There is a hole in our heart that will never be filled.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Fran Ryland; and her paternal grandfather, Charles Henry Fisher.
Kara is survived by her parents, Harold and Michelle; her brother, Ryland (Abigail); sister, Chaney; maternal grandparents, Mick and Sandy Ryland; paternal grandmother, Christel Fisher; uncle, Mark (Lisa) Ryland; aunt, Heidi (Chris) Finn; niece, Adeline; cousins, Jared and Justin; numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
