Julie Lorette Lawrie

Julie Lawrie, age 87 of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025. Julie was the beloved daughter of the late Olga and Andrew Misdeo of Millville, New Jersery.

Julie worked as an operator for the telephone company before serving in the Women’s Air Corps.  After her service, she lived as a military wife in Panama City, Florida, Portland, Oregon, Kaiserslautern, Germany, Ramstein, Germany, Lancaster, California, Minot, and North Dakota; thereafter, settling in Fort Walton Beach, where she was employed as a bookkeeper at Veterans Gas Company. She spent her last thirty-five years as a homemaker. 

Julie is survived by her sons, Trent and Derik; granddaughters, Ashley and Amanda; great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Malachi, Kaden and Lentrill; and sisters, Marion and Elaine. 

Graveside services will take place Friday, January 24, 2025 starting at 12:00 p.m., Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 NW Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.
