Joyce Weeks Alford passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the age of eighty-one. She was born February 8, 1945, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Alonzo and Irene Eddins Weeks. Joyce was a beautiful person, both inside and out and absolutely loved to shop. She was a kindergarten teacher before she teamed up with her husband Charles to assist with a family-owned business adventure. The proud owners of a new tire store in Panama City, Florida, awarded her many titles: bookkeeper, secretary, pay-roll clerk, and some days maybe the boss.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Weeks.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of sixty-three years, Charles Alford; two children, Charles E. Alford, Jr; and James G. Alford; two grandchildren, Jackson and MacKenzie Alford; and many, many friends.
