Joseph Bodollo, IV, age 55, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2020. He was born on September 14, 1964 in Akron, Ohio to Joseph Bodollo III and Elizabeth Nagy Bodollo. Joseph was an Eagle Scout Troop 933. Joseph was very patriotic and served his country in the United State Air Force and was a veteran of the Gulf War. He was an aircraft electrician retiring with over 20 years of faithful and dedicated service. Joseph was very outgoing and had a magnetic personality. He was a music enthusiast and avid guitar player. Joseph enjoyed cycling as well as participating and spectating at sporting events. He was fond of the water and enjoyed boating and cruising. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his wife, Ivka, and the time and involvement with his son, Joe, forming an incredible bond throughout the years.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ivka Bodollo; son, Joseph Bodollo V; mother, Elizabeth Bodollo; sisters, Lisa (Holly) Reckers and Cynthia (Ken) McHugh; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bodollo III.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Shelter B, Pensacola, Florida, on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen (komenflorida.org) or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org/give-a-gift), in Joseph’s memory.
