In loving Memory of John Wayne Howze

John Wayne Howze was born December 11, 1947 to Theo and Lucille Howze.  John loved to hunt, work with his hands, build, weld and he loved his family. He lost his battle with lung cancer on April 7, 2021.  John was a resident of Holt, Florida and a life-long resident of the area.

He leaves behind three daughters, Amanda Moore, Lucinda Lingor, and Sherry McGlothlin and husband John; sisters, Diane and Bill Bryan, BettySue and Roy Richards, and Liz Pattie; grandchildren, Justin McKee, Lucas McKee, Rebeckah Howze, Samantha Powell, Anthony Lowe, Katie Ryman, Liz Griffin, and Taylor Mashburn. John also leaves behind fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more friends and family.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on April 25, 2021 at the Baker Area Recreation Center Pavilion, 5503 Highway 4, Baker Florida. They invite you to join them as early as 12 noon to celebrate his life and share your memories. They will be hosting a covered dish meal at 1pm, as this style of dining was something John really enjoyed.
