John Hobbs Agerton

John Hobbs Agerton, loving son of Patricia Murphy Agerton Brown and Bobby Morice Agerton, age 64, passed away February 2, 2025 in Bolivar, Tennessee.  He was born October 28, 1960 in Clarksville, Tennessee. 

John is survived by his mother; three sons, Taylor, Brandon and Cory Agerton; daughter, Annie Malgren; brother, Michael Agerton; sister, Jane Agerton; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews. 

John loved music, especially the Canon in D by Pachelbel. He was a machinist and liked to take computers apart and put them back together again. 

Services for John will take place March 3, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 110 St. Mary Avenue SW, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin 10:00 a.m. with the Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 10:45 a.m. Services conducted by Monsignor Doug Halsema.  

Graveside service, with military honors, commence at 2:30 p.m., March 3, 2025 at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS, Pensacola, Florida 32508. 

He will be greatly missed.
