Joanna Nadine Johnson

Joanna Nadine Johnson passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at 6:13 pm at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.  She was 70 years old and a resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She loved being a mother and spending time with her 12 grandchildren.  Joanna was known as “Ms. Jo” to her neighbors who she loved to help.

Joanna was born on August 25, 1949, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Albert Lee and survived by her mother, Minnie Lee Stamps.  Joanna was the youngest of five children and is survived by her siblings, Mary Warren, Nell Campbell, Ann Potter and the late Larry White.  She is also survived by her five children, Linda McNabb, Sonya Hough and her husband, Leon, Freddie Hough and his wife, Veronica, Towan Hough, and Karlos Rhodes and his wife, Caroline.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Taelor Rhodes, Kaia Rhodes, Soleil Rhodes, Lakeza Hough, Jamiah Hough, Zebran Hough, Amia Miles, Samiracle Hough, Jaquan Hough, Freddie Hough III, and two great-grandchildren Journey Hough, Keith Von.

A Graveside Service will be held at Beal Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 11:00.
