Jimmy Roy Price, age 75, of Baker, Florida was born February 22, 1949 in Crestview. He went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 29, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, George Henry Price; mother, Lillie Mae Price; sister, Elisabeth Merritt; and brothers, Henry, Donnie, and Lonnie Price. He is survived by his wife, Olena Price; children, Chris and Galina Price, Cindi and Richard Franco, Laura and Steve Phillips, Amber and Brian Ramsey, and Angela Kirtsinger and Dmitry Price; stepdaughter, Iryna Slyusar; grandchildren, Anna and Katya Price, Grayson Phillips, Branson Hill, Declyn Phillips; Charlotte, Lilly, and Madelyn Kelley; Cole, Valerie, and Eli Kirtsinger; siblings, Lucille and TC King, Harvey and Peggy Price, Linda and Glenn Cruz, Larry and Oxanna Price, Marty Price, Georgeann and Dean McDonald, Margaret and Tony Queen, David and Janet Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy loved to fish, work on the farm, tend to the animals, and to eat good food. He had a successful career at Monsanto/Solutia that progressed quickly into management. Jimmy was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as Branch President at the Olive Branch for several years.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida 32539 from 5 until 7 p.m. Jimmy's life will be honored with a service February 3, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3 Del Cerro Camino Crestview, Florida 32539, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following the service, there will be a graveside dedication at Shady Grove Community Cemetery, 1189 Shady Grove Church Road, Baker, Florida 32531.
