Jesse Donald Locke

Jesse Donald Locke, age 81, passed away April 22, 2026 in Bonifay, Florida. He was born May 7, 1944 in Holmes County, Florida to the late JD and Janie Hood Locke. During his spare time, Don enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing his guitar, and flying.  He never met a person, including all the staff at the nursing home, that didn’t get the pleasure of hearing one of his many stories or jokes. Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by both his parents; one son, Tony Locke; and four siblings, Eulene Cullifer, Glenda Cullifer, Pollie Davidson, and Rachel Locke.

Don is survived by his wife, Rita Locke; one daughter, Tracy Hagen (Corey); one granddaughter, Jillian Hagen; one grandson, Yzack Hagen; two siblings, Hugh Locke (Glenda) and Geretha Hudson (Tommie); along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 27, 2026 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins of Bonifay, 406 West Highway 90 Bonifay, Florida 32425 beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Lamb officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Committal services will follow at Campground Cemetery in Westville, Florida. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are as follows: Brad Locke, Josh Locke, Si Locke, Mickey Hudson, Trip Hudson, and Bruce Barber.
