Jerry Wallace Davis, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends. Jerry was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to George Wallace Davis and Eula Bell Jeter Davis.
Jerry will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and hardworking spirit. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army before dedicating many years of his life to working as a construction worker and heavy equipment operator. An entrepreneur at heart, Jerry also owned and operated his own lawn care business, taking great pride in the work he did and the relationships he built within his community.
Known as a dependable man who never backed down from hard work, Jerry was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A proud Floridian, he valued family, friendship, and the simple joys of life. He enjoyed fishing, sharing stories, laughter, and time with the people he loved most, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever.
Jerry’s life was a blessing to those around him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Davis Watkins Funeral Home on 113 Racetrack Road Northeast in Fort Walton Beach, Florida beginning at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends an hour prior starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church at 447 Racetrack Road Northwest in Fort Walton Beach.
