Jeffrey Lynn Duncan, 76, of Inlet Beach, Florida, passed away Wednesday July 1, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 24, 1950, in Belvidere, Illinois, to Glynn and Doris (Allen) Duncan. Shortly after, they moved to DuQuoin, Illinois, where he grew up and ultimately resided for many years before relocating to Destin, Florida, with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Leonora Burns Motch, of Inlet Beach; two children, Jennifer McDaniel of Mobile, Alabama, and Jared Duncan and wife, Ashley of Miramar Beach; two stepchildren, Will Motch of Fairhope, Alabama, and Marie Motch of Redding, California; four grandchildren, Chase and Connor McDaniel, and Cora and Kennedy Duncan; sister, April Kremer and husband, Roger, of DuQuoin, Illinois; brother in-law, Roy Burns and wife, Lisa; brother in-law, William Burns and wife, Brenda; sister in-law, Sarah (LeeLee) Sims; and a host of loved nieces and nephews in DuQuoin, Illinois and the Florida panhandle.
He is preceded in death by his late wife, Pamela Ann Duncan; and his parents, Glynn and Doris Duncan.
Private services will be held for the family at a later date.
