Jeannie Scott Warren age 83, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Blountstown, Florida. She was born July 24, 1941 in Panama City, Florida to Earl Maxwell and Mildred Hill Scott. She married her high school sweetheart right after graduation and remained married to James Roy Warren until his passing in 1987. Jeannie spent her lifetime in service to others. She was passionately dedicated to her family, her church and her community. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, as well as a church and community leader. As the director of Bay County Family Services, she tended to the needs of Bay County’s residents and was awarded a Jefferson award for extraordinary acts of public service. Her kindness and compassion have influenced countless lives. She will be forever missed.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Roy Warren; her parents, Maxwell and Mildred Scott; and grandson, Tyler Norton.
She is survived by her children, James Roy Warren and his wife, Connie, Mark Edward Warren and his wife, Susan, Leah Hill Ehrbar and her husband, William (Bill), and Rebecca (Becky) Ann Norton; grandchildren, Crystal Higgins and husband, David, Chelsea Warren Green, Alex Warren and wife, Rachel, Adam Warren, Emily Ehrbar, Rebecca Ehrbar, Lucy Ehrbar, Caleb Norton, Sarah Norton and Katie Norton; great grandchildren, Kennedy Green and Alivia Higgins; and brother, John Charles Scott and wife, Sheila.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery, 1398 West 17th Street, Panama City, Florida 32405 beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Mitchell officiating.
