Jeanine Ann (Parisi) Finn was born October 4, 1952 in Danbury, Ct. to Peter Parisi and Dorothy (Halpin) Parisi and was raised in Bethel, Ct. She died Wednesday June, 10, 2020 at home with her husband of 30 plus years by her side in Seagrove, Fl. after a long struggle with lung cancer and severe COPD.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda (Parisi) McConnell. She is survived by her husband Gregory (Greg) Finn of Florida, her sister Cathy Parisi and brother Peter Parisi and his wife Catherine living in the Danbury/Bethel, Ct area. She had numerous nieces and nephews: Linda’s children: Matthew Dick, Michele Lankford, Cathy’s children: Heather Smith and Carrie Wheeler; Peter’s children: Peter Parisi, Jr, Betsy Cummings and Stacy Freda.
In addition she had numerous friends but the one that was most dear was her husband’s sister Judy (Finn) Haynie who introduced her to her future husband. I addition she helped nurse Jeanine following her various treatments.
Jeanine spent much of her working career in the retail sector in various positions as a retail associate, department manager, area merchandiser and sales representative for various companies. After retirement she started her own small fashion jewelry business which also was one of her favorite hobbies.
She was an outgoing personality who loved to organize gatherings of all types including dinners, visits to attractions such as museums, theater and days at the beach. Her neighbors dubbed her “the Social Director”. She loved to travel and one of her favorite pastimes was to attend plays in New York City and London England.
Her service will be held as a private family gathering at some time in the future. In lieu of flowers friends may wish to contribute in Jeanine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
