Jason Glen Gillman

Jason Glen Gillman, age 52, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.  He was born October 20, 1973 to Glen and Teresa Gillman in Geneva, Alabama.  Jason was Christian by faith and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church for the entirety of his life.  He had a love for music, playing many instruments to include guitars and even the mandolin.  He liked Harley Davidson motorcycles but his greatest love would have to be spending time with his family and friends.

Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Gillman; one sister, Amanda Jane Gillman; paternal grandparents, Coot and Annie Gillman, maternal grandparents, Laura Jane Handley, and Jerry Goodner; mother-in-law, Helen Davis McHenry; along with several other loved ones who met him in Heaven.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon McHenry Gillman; devoted father, Glen Gillman; three children, Eleyonna Gillman, Brittany Risher, and Elijah Barton; one granddaughter, Lilliana Vieth; one sister, Candy Gaff and brother-in-love, Tim Gaff; a special niece and birthday buddy, Kira Gaff; father-in-law, Lonnie McHenry (Sherry); beloved fur companion, Kylo; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 1985 Pleasant Ridge Road, Westville, Florida 32464, beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dale Paul officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Committal services will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
