Janice Neal McIntosh

Janice Neal McIntosh, 76, of Freeport, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Janice was the steadfast matriarch of her family, a loving wife, mother, Ganny, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. Whether she was arriving with a homemade loaf of bread or surprising her boys with a new kitchen gadget she had discovered, she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel loved and cared for.

She was known for her warm smile, welcoming spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. Janice’s kindness and quick wit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She loved sharing great food, enjoying a good glass of wine, and spending time surrounded by family. Those simple moments together were the ones she treasured most.

Janice and her beloved husband, Mike, shared a lifelong love of all things Disney. From cherished trips to collecting Mickey and Minnie treasures, Disney brought them countless happy memories and reflected the joy and playfulness they carried throughout their lives.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Mike McIntosh, in April 2025.

Janice is survived by her son, Michael McIntosh and his children, Hayden, Abby, and Dylan McIntosh, and their mother, Dana McIntosh; step-granddaughters, Bella Bingham and Maggie Ellen Bingham; her son, James “Jamie” McIntosh and his wife, Rebecca McIntosh; as well as her brothers, Jim Neal and his wife, Alice, and Curtis Neal and his wife, Vicky. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her love, generosity, and the countless memories they shared.

Though her family grieves her loss, they find comfort in knowing that her legacy of unconditional love, generosity, laughter, and hospitality will live on through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 at 1055 Bay Grove Road, Freeport, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Janice’s life, share memories, and honor the extraordinary woman who meant so much to so many.
