Jane Lorraine (Rinkle) Van Avery

Jane Lorraine Van Avery, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in Chipley, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 23, 1946, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Charles Rinkle and Juanita Morlan Rinkle. Jane was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She found joy in working in her yard. She was a kind and gentle spirit whose warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Van Avery, and her parents, Charles and Juanita Rinkle.

Jane is survived by her four children, Larry Van Avery, Jr. and his wife, Lisa; Gary Van Avery and his wife, Denise; Alisa McClintock and her husband, Gary; and Gracie Bledsoe and her husband, David. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply. Jane’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in their hearts forever. 

In honor of Jane's wishes, no services will be held.
