It is with shock and broken hearts that we announce the death of our loving son, loyal brother, loving uncle and genuine friend. James passed away, Saturday, July 11, 2020, peacefully in his sleep at home. James was born March 23, 1984 at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. He lived most of his life in Crestview, Florida, after his family returned from RAF Woodbridge, Martlesham Health, United Kingdom in 1992. He graduated from Crestview High School. After attending Culinary school, he was selected and worked until his death at the 96th Medical Groups Nutritional Medicine at Eglin AFB.
James is survived by his parents, Howard and Janet Longbrake; two brothers, Jeffrey and Jacob; nephews, Christian, Gabriel, Travis, Eli and Henry; nieces, Audrey, Khloe and Sera.
James’ passion in life was his family. He always made sure every get together our family had a party to remember. We mostly remember James for his kind and compassionate spirit, quick wit and his unfiltered dry sense of humor. Anyone fortunate to have known James would know and say how generous, loving and completely selfless a person he was.
There will be a private family service at our home to celebrate his life.
