James Francis Potter

James (Jimmy) F. Potter, age 79, of Crestview, Florida, passed away on June 13, 2020 in the comfort of his home with his loving wife by his side.  James was born in Glen Cove, New York,  on March 25, 1941 to Norman and Margaret Potter.

James is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Taranto) Potter; a son, James F. Potter and his wife Michelle of Arcadia, Florida; daughter, Joann Nichols and husband Jard of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Grant Potter and Lauren Nichols; a sister, Adrienne (Potter) DeFrank of Farmingdale, New York; and several nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by a son, Norman John Potter; his parents, Norman and Margaret Potter and several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

A time of visitation will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church, 550 Adams Drive, Crestview, Florida, 32536 on Friday, June 19 (contact the church for service details) a traditional funeral mass will immediately follow. Please contact the church to register to attend services. A private burial will be at the convenience of the family.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Our Lady of Victory Church, 550 Adams Drive, Crestview, Florida, 32536.  Davis Watkins Crestview Memorial is in charge of the arrangements.
