James (Jimm)  Moulton Campbell, age 69, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 as the sun was rising. He died at his home in Crestview, Florida. Jimm was born September 9, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to his mother, Marie Blankenship and father, James Walker. He was later adopted by his stepfather, James Campbell.

He had four marriages to Susan McKinney, Pepper Campbell, Omega Campbell, and Carrita Todd Campbell.

Most of his childhood was spent in Sacramento, California and the surrounding areas, specifically Elk Grove. In 1967, Jimm attended Sheldon Jackson High School/Jr College were he received an Associate Degree. This school was where he first met his 4th wife, that he later rekindled a romance with.

After graduation, he joined the Navy and served 4 years. The first year he was stationed on Midway Island, with the next 3 years was spent at Argentia Newfoundland naval base. He worked as an Oceanographic Technician.

After Jimm left the Navy, he hitchhiked around the country, ending up in Atlanta. He married Susan in Atlanta and had 3 daughters. When they divorced, he ended up in New Orleans, where he worked several odd jobs, but most of his 20 years spent there he worked as a Lucky Dog Vendor. While living in New Orleans he married and divorced Pepper and Omega. He was part of NOLA culture, even being written about in a book about the time and culture back then. It’s called ‘C-Note’. He met Carrita again on classmates.com. In 2002, Jimm moved to Juneau, Alaska to marry his first love. She passed away in 2014 due to Multiple Myeloma cancer. He cared for her until her death.
