Isaac "lke" Oscar Haisley, Jr. was born June 26, 1941, to the late Isaac "lke" Haisley and Rena Bell McGuire Haisley in Walton County, DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Isaac departed this life on Friday, April 24, 2026, at his home. He was educated in the public schools of Walton County, Florida. Isaac attended Popular Springs and Tivoli High School. He joined the United States Army and served several years. He always talked about his time in Germany. As a brick mason, Ike always talked about the places he laid bricks and he would be so excited talking about the people he met during this time. He was proud of his children and always said "do you know my children."
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arnie, Bradie, Lawrence, Leodis and Theodis; sisters, Louise, Ellawease, Annie Jean, Rose Pearl, Betty, and Mary; and son, Wayne Haisley.
Ike's memories will be cherished by his devoted and loving sons, Isaac Haisley of Fort Myers Florida, Darin Cobb of Ponce de Leon, Florida,and Gabriel Haisley of Defuniak Springs, Florida; one devoted daughter, Rena Haisley of Fort Myers Florida; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, all of whom loved him dearly and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 at Euchee Valley Cemetery 5745 County Highway 183 South, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
