Hazel Jones Hallford passed peacefully on March 19, 2026, surrounded by her family.
She loved her family with her whole heart, and she didn’t just say it, but lived it every day. Hazel took care of people, all kinds of people, for as long as anyone can remember. As a nurse, she was a born caregiver and loved her work as well as the people she worked with for over 30 years.
She was spunky and funny. She didn’t care if her socks matched, but her hair had to be just right. She loved gardening, camping, watching the news on tv, and caring for her pets. If you stopped by, she would feed you, give you a cup of coffee and visit with you on the front porch.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Hallford; mother, Lonnie Marsh Jones; father, Charlie Byrd Jones; siblings, Myrlene Walker, Clydie Wise, Dorothy Jean Jones, Wade Jones, Leland Jones, and Freeman Jones; nieces and nephews, Judy Maynard, Ted Wise, Phillip Wise, and Don Wise.
Hazel is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian and Tom Sieck, Ginger Stevenson, and Donna and Mike Taylor; grandchildren, Allen Taylor, Richard Taylor, and Marcia Fulks; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Joey Taylor, Nathaniel Fulks, Brandon Fulks, Jakub Taylor, and Aspen Taylor; nieces and nephews, Sue Lusk, Janie Wilson, Marty and Randy Walker; and Ronnie, Larry, and Elwin Jones.
In her final moments, she was home, with family and passed peacefully.
God and family was everything to her. She will always be loved and deeply missed. Those who knew her were blessed to have had her in their lives.
