Ginger “Leigh” Redmon, age 43, a resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida, made her final journey, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, surrounded by her family, loved ones, and friends. She was born December 7, 1979, in Enterprise, Alabama, to Rodney and Ginger Brown Hawthorne. Leigh was the most selfless, brave, friendly, loving, and caring person to anyone blessed enough to know her. Whether it be fishing, swimming, or boating, she just loved anything that brought her close to the water. Leigh was a faithful member of Cedar Springs Assembly of God, where she remained active as long as her health allowed, and she continued to be strong in her beliefs. She will leave a trail of cherished memories.
Leigh is survived by her devoted husband of twenty-two years, Alvin Redmon; three sons, Hunter, Kypten, and Cole; one daughter, Tinzleigh; mother, Ginger Spivey; stepfather, K.W. Spivey; father, Rodney Hawthorne; two brothers, John Edwards (Kristian), and Shon Edwards (Kyra); three aunts, Lounette Brown, Ernestine Shiver (Lamar), and Brenda Zorn (Larry); three uncles, Eugene Hawthorne (Luann), David Hawthorne (Tammy), and Chuck Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A celebration of Leigh's life will be held at Cedar Springs Assembly of God (Prosperity Community) at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to Cedar Springs Assembly of God,1989 County Road 181, Westville, Florida 32464.
