George was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 12, 1935. He attended Georgia Tech night school after graduating from West Fulton High School, and then he received his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Georgia State University. Beginning his career at Western Electric Company at the age of 18, he continued by working at AT & T Technology, where he retired at 54 as Vice President of International Sales.
George was married to Carolyn Nee Sizemore for 67 years and they have a daughter, Crista Walker (Paul), of Dallas, Texas and one son, Jeffery Morgan, of New York City. George is survived by two grandchildren, Brian Walker and Katherine Morgan Knepper.
