George Wallace Booker

George Wallace Booker, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Born on November 11, 1946, to Mr. George Walter Booker and Thelma Lorrain (Fortner) Booker in Saint Louis, Missouri. George was a long-time resident of Mary Esther, Florida, where he lived with his beautiful wife of 25 years, Leonor Booker.

George Served his country in both the Army and the Air Force, prior to becoming a Registered Nurse, working at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center for over twenty years. In his younger years, George was active in the Boy Scouts of America, earning the rank of Eagle Scout.  After retirement, George spent his time working around the house, singing Karaoke, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Leonor Booker; his mother, Thelma Booker; his brother, Jerrral Booker (Debbie); his children, Teresa Kochera (Michael), Geoffrey Booker (Kathy) and Paul Booker; he was a proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his father, George Walter Booker; and his son, Shawn Garrett Booker.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. In leu of flowers, the family request that you donate in his name to the charity of your choice.
