Fredrick Conrad Lilland, Jr., age 53, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born April 4, 1967 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Fredrick and Janice Lilland. While living in West Columbia, Texas with his family, he graduated from West Columbia High School. Later, he followed his family to live in DeFuniak. Fredrick was employed as a supervisor with Freeport Shipyard, working there for more than twenty-five years. He loved to go deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, and race his car around the dirt track at Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida back in the 90's and early 2000's. He also loved to go scuba diving and bring home lots of sand dollars for his kids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Matthew Lilland, and one brother, Walter C. Towery.
Fredrick is survived by one daughter, Kelly Cutter and husband Adam; one grandson, Max Cutter; three brothers, John David Towery, Martin Lilland and wife Tesha, and Gary Towery and wife Janet; one sister, Sandra Fillingim; six nieces; eight nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 3:00 p.m. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Davis-Watkins Funeral Home.
