Franklin Rosevelt Infinger, known by family and friends as “Rosie”, and a life-long resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away New Years Day at the age of 92. He was born November 24, 1932, to the late Owen and Lena Infinger. All his adult life he had worked in the concrete industry, working both as a truck driver and a finisher. Fishing was his hobby and sitting on his front porch was a quiet, enjoyable way to pass time. Rosie was a dedicated WZEP listener; perhaps, being their number one fan, while the “Country Store” was his favorite segment.
He is preceded in death by three brothers, his twin, Garner Infinger, Willie Owen Infinger, and Houston Infinger; two sisters, Annie Mae Infinger and Ila Nelson; numerous nieces and nephews; many cousins; one special cousin and caretaker, Crystal Dawn Leon-Garcia; a lot of friends; and his adorable little dog, Wolfie.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with no services.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory of DeFuniak Springs.
