Frances Annette Redmon

Frances Annette Redmon, age 82, of Ponce de Leon, Florida, passed peacefully February 9, 2025.  She was born December 9, 1942, in Sweet Gum Head, Florida to Obie Stiner and Eleanor Gilmore.  Annette was the beloved wife of the late Nonnie D Redmon with whom she shared a loving, enduring marriage for over forty-six years.  Together, they built a life rooted in love, trust and unwavering devotion to one another, all which were sustained by their faith in God.  Their marriage was not only a bond of love but a testament to the strength of Christ in their lives.  In addition to her role as a devoted wife, Annette was a caring and compassionate mother, sister, grandmother and friend.  She was known for her warm heart, sense of humor and the many ways she touched the lives of those around her.  Annette found joy in the simple things, such as her time of worship and time with her family.  Her legacy is one of kindness, strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Annette is preceded in death by her loving husband, Nonnie D Redmon; devoted son, Alvin Gary Redmon; daughter-in-law, Leigh Redmon; father, Obie Stiner; mother, Eleanor; five brothers; and brother and sister-in-law, Nolan and Donna Redmon.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Terri Redmon Phillips (James Ray); five cherished grandchildren, Preslie Redmon, Hunter Redmon, Kypten Redmon, Cole Redmon, and Tinzleigh Redmon; several loving sisters-in-law along with numerous nephews and nieces.

Annette’s unwavering faith, strength and kindness will forever remain in those who were blessed to know her.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, at New Ponce de Leon Cemetery, Ponce de Leon, Florida beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry McGowan officiating.

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home of DeFuniak Springs.
