Faye Martin

Harriet Faye Martin, age 64, of Laurel Hill, Florida, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born March 13, 1959, in Florala, Alabama, to Willard Truett and Grace Gentry Truett. Faye was a special person who loved taking care of others. She enjoyed her career in the nursing field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved crafting, but most of all she treasured the time spent with her family and loved cooking for them. 

She is preceded by her parents; and her husband, Bruce Martin.

Faye is survived by one son, Chad Martin (Amanda); one daughter, Brandy Arndt (Daniel); two sisters, Cathy Callahan (Donnie), and Earline McCall; three brothers, William Truett (Janice), Arthur Truett (Evelyn), and Jeff Truett (Leslie); two grandchildren, Rhyann and Keagan Martin; close friend, David Cook; and many other family, friends and loved ones. 

Funeral services will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, with Minister Jimmy Watson officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Committal services will follow at Cluster Springs Cemetery.
