Ezekiel Goodman

Ezekiel Norris Goodman, age 65, of Crestview, Florida departed this life Thursday, May 6, 2021 at North Okaloosa Medical Center. He was born September 10,1955 in Defuniak Springs, Florida to Julia Elizabeth Anderson Goodman and the late Dennis Lee Goodman, Sr.  He attended school in the Defuniak Springs, Florida School District, and he served in the United States Army. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was well known throughout the community. He was loved by his family and friends and his presence will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father; his wife, Linda Parker Goodman; and his sister, Diane Goodman.

Ezekiel is survived by his mother, Julia Goodman of Defuniak Springs, Florida; sister, Hattie Carswell ( Shedrick); brother, Ralph Goodman; brother, Johnny Goodman (Genora); brother, Clifton Goodman; sister, Laquita Hall (Alex); brother, Dennis Goodman (Sylinda); brother, James Goodman (Laura); brother, Delton Goodman (Rachel); Dennis Goodman, James Pender, Beulah Pender, Mary Hamilton (Antonio), Jacquelyn Goodman, and Lawanda Noble (Willie), Sewiner Robinson, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Davis-Watkins, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 with Reverend Ernest Powell officiating.  A time of visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 14th in the chapel.
