Everett Delgado

Everett “Ed” Delgado, age 92, passed away Saturday, 4 January 2025, at his residence in Shalimar, Florida.  Ed was born 26 Jun 1932 in New York City, New York, the only son of the late Everett Delgado (born Everardo Francisco Gonzalez Delgado) and Angela Adeline Cardoso.

Ed served in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1954.  On 1 Jan 1976, Ed and the former Cheryle L. Korns married in Newark, Ohio.  He is survived by his wife; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Laura Delgado; daughter and son-in-law, Renèe and Kurt Nelson; son and grandchildren, Jace Delgado and Christian, Ethan, and Roxie Delgado; and son and grandchildren, Chris Delgado and Connor and Olivia Delgado and AnnaLee McCaghren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his only sibling, Elizabeth “Betty” Kauffman.  

In accordance with Ed’s instructions, there will be no service.
