Eva Louise Reynolds passed away peacefully at her home on June 3, 2026, surrounded by love and family. She was 86 years old. Known by those who loved her as Mom, Mamaw, Lou and Louise, she was a resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Sweet, thoughtful, and eternally social, Louise lived a life filled with love, laughter, faith, cooking and baking for those she loved, and visiting with an open heart. We will especially remember her passion for pecans, banana pudding, and shopping.
Born Eva Louise Lilly, she came into this world in Liberty, Mississippi on July 11, 1939 to Eva Nevilles Lilly and Lonnie Weston Lilly. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Ashley Reynolds, Sr., on May 31, 1958.
Louise is survived by her children: Charlie, Sandra (and husband, Tom), and Bill; her grandchildren, Ashley (and husband, Andrew), Jessica, Michael (and wife, Stephanie), Greg and Alex; her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Ashton, Anderson, Owen, Asher, Layla and Charlie; her brother, Robert Lilly (and wife, Freida); sister-in-law, Etta May Causey; brother-in-law, Sonny Stancil; and many other beloved family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ashley Reynolds, Sr. and sister, Marty Stancil.
Louise’s funeral service will be held in Liberty, Mississippi on June 13, 2026, at the Browns Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. followed by her service at 10:00 a.m. She will then be interred at the Stewart-Wall Cemetery in Liberty, Mississippi. Her celebration of life will be held at Wright Baptist Church, 795 Beal Pkwy Northwest, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 on what would have been her 87th birthday, July 11, 2026, beginning at 10:00am.
