Obituary
Emma Ola Roberts, age 88, of Freeport, Florida, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born December 10, 1934. Emma loved to read and loved to fish. She had a very big heart for taking care of others. When her children were young, Emma helped take care of their entire football team, making sure that they were fed and never went without anything they needed. She was a wonderful cook who made the best banana pudding, biscuits, and tomato gravy. Emma's baby was her beloved dog, Lady.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Roberts; daughter, Faye Lowery; son, Randy Roberts; daughter, Brenda Bryan; and grandson, Gregory Bryan.
Emma is survived by her sons, Joe Roberts and Richard Roberts; her number one grandson, John Roberts; grandsons, Christopher Bryan and Rick, Jr.; granddaughter, Kelsea Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Tyler Roberts; and many other family, friends and loved ones.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Hatcher Cemetery, Freeport, Florida.
Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home of DeFuniak Springs.
