It is with deep sorrow I inform you Edward Wayne Wilson also known as “Ed” who was born April 10, 1958, in Louisville Kentucky to Margaret Reis-Sexton and Ellis Warder Wilson passed away on January 20, 2022 at 63 years old.
He moved to Okaloosa County Florida in 2006 and resided in a cozy condo in Shalimar, where he remained unmarried but found companionship with his loyal dog and beloved friend Spike, who also passed away May 21, 2018.
In addition to his love for football, fast cars, grilling, nature, and the gospel, he also had a complicated relationship with refrigeration. He held many different certifications in the industry and his company Star Refrigeration of Las Vegas Nevada was well known. He decided life in the fast lane was no longer serving him and sold his stocks to his partner and became the District Manager of Advanced Refrigeration & Air in Pensacola.
Although he later became disabled, he never lost his lust for life. He always kept his mind busy by engineering and renovating his own home with the help of his trusted friend Eric and neighbor Matt.
In his spare time, he enjoyed steak, corn on the cob, and a baked potato, but mostly connecting with his wonderful female companion, Karen.
His surviving daughter, Churee Wilson is holding service at the Best Western located at 106 Bayshore Drive, Niceville, Florida 32578 on April 30, 2022, at 6:00 PM. Please reach out to her directly for more information via email chureewilson@gmail.com.
Thank you all so much for your love and support.
