Dorothy Ann Kracht, age 90, of Niceville, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was born December 25, 1931, to Francis Keena and Irene Keena in Detroit, MI. Dorothy was a graduating member of the 1949 class at Lakeview High School in St. Clair, MI, where she resided for 50 years. She married Thomas Kracht, her true love, on May 29, 1954. Dorothy owned and ran a small business for 40 years in St. Clair Shores, MI. After retiring, Dorothy and Tom moved to Niceville, Florida to be near their Children and Grandchildren.
Dorothy was a Catholic and very much enjoyed her church time for many years! She loved to entertain people. Dorothy and Tom had many great friends and loved to spend time with them often. She loved to have parties as often as she could. She was ALWAYS the Life of the party! One of Dorothy's passions was to dance and dance she did!! She loved being a social butterfly and loved to play games, too. Dorothy was a fun-loving person. Dorothy and Tom both lived for their children and grandchildren, always giving them everything they could! (Especially Love)
Dorothy is survived by her children, Susan Kracht, Cheryl Kracht (Tom Audie), Karin Frisbee (Edward Frisbee) and her son Thomas Kracht Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew Frisbee (Gigi), Mary Frisbee (Joro), Scott Frisbee (Alex), Rebekah Schaefer (Thor), Christine Audie (Jeremy), Matthew Audie; great grandchildren, Tristan Webb and Ziggy Frisbee; sister-in-law, Joyce Keena and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Kracht; siblings, Lila Walman (Chuck), Betty Fickert (Karl), John Keena, Thomas Keena and Ronny Keena; brother-in-law, Jerome Kracht (Carol); Sister in laws, Joan Grimes (Ray) and Janice Roman; many wonderful friends and some loving animals.
A special Thank You to the wonderful ladies that helped take care of Dorothy: Gene, Judy, Gail and Pam and to the truly, fantastic staff at Bay Port assisted living facility; they helped her through her transition, especially Jerome. We really appreciate all the kindness that was given to our mom!
